You are required to: aDetermine the summary statistics of Pb grades. bCalculate the sample variance, the standard deviation and the coefficient of variation for the given data. cDraw the Histogram and probability plot of the Pb grades.

The data for multivariate analysis should always be examined and tested for Normality, and Homogeneity of variances. (5 marks) aWhy? Give reasons bExplain with sketches two methods to assess the normality of the variables.

Use the Triangle Method to calculate the average thickness and the total ore reserve in tons for the region shown in the Figure below. Sampling data are given in Table (2).
