The course focuses on different principles and techniques of language teaching. This also
includes micro-teaching sessions.
Course Objectives:
The purpose of the course is to acquaint students with principles and techniques of
language teaching. It will enable students learn principles of teaching and
techniques of teaching through teaching sessions.
a) Attendance (no more than 3 absences are allowed), b) Participation, c)
Requirements:
Assignments, and d) Taking the midterm and final exams.
Required Textbook:
Techniques and Principles in Language Teaching by Larsen-Freeman
Optional Textbooks:
