New Building Administrator Mini-Orientation – Roles & Responsibilities Cindy Cowden - Broke down into 3 categories Building access issues work with Dave Martin Safety related issues works with EH&S and Dave Hubney Have action plans for the building a. UPD provides safety issues on campus b. Work with PF on issues maintenance and work orders and changes Pam Turrigiano Maintains key access Be a good communicator Establish a good working relationship with Physical Facilities Norm Quinn Establish a lot of contacts-Dave Stone will help out Key access and recordkeeping distribution is required to keep safety and security on campus Fire Drills are at least 2X a year-create a roster of each floor and have an assigned Fire Marshall Do fire inspections prior to a fire inspector coming to prevent a potential violation Emergency Customer Service Center (ECSC) 7-2341 Some other responsibilities consist of o Cleaning of the building o Light bulbs o Bathroom supplies o Electrical needs-submit a service request Make out Form A’s on equipment when recycling equipment Additional Comments: Tim Faughnan - When an emergency occurs you should contact who is in charge of this area and find out what is in the area of concern 1 Updated 10/27/14 Karen Fennie - You are key in providing information to the occupants in your building Renee Sersen - Have emergency contacts and keep current with who is where Clyde Robinson - Administrator duties go outside of the building as well JoAnn Navarro - If you have any issues contact her and let her know Building access is a concern 4.
