THE INTERNATIONAL HOUSE University of Missouri – St. Louis In Fall 2010, the offices of Residential Life & Housing and International Student & Scholar Services launched the International House (iHouse) as a joint venture to strengthen and support the international student community at the University of MissouriSt. Louis. Each academic year, representatives select four outstanding internationally minded student leaders to serve in a mentoring and program development role. The iHouse is a headquarters and living space for these four leaders, as well as a welcome center for new international students. The 1960’s two story brick home features a renovated kitchen, living room, dining room, office and half bath on the first floor. The second floor includes two single bedrooms and master bedroom (double occupancy) that surround the full bathroom. Parking is available. Each leader receives a housing scholarship (equivalent to a 50% subsidy of the monthly rent cost) provided by the Office of Residential Life and Housing.
