Resolutions for February 6, 2007 Senate Meeting:
Resolution to Approve Martial Arts Club
Whereas, the Brighton Campus Student Government Association is charged with the chartering of new clubs
and organizations, be it
Resolved, that the Brighton Campus Student Government Association approve the chartering of the Martial
Arts Club.
Resolution to Approve MCC Ballroom and Latin Dance Club
Whereas the Brighton Campus Student Government Association is charged with the chartering of new clubs
and organizations, be it
Resolved, that the Brighton Campus Student Government Association approve the chartering of the MCC
Ballroom and Latin Dance Club.
Resolution to approve the list of members and mission statement from the Engineering Leadership
Council
Whereas section 2.3.3 of the Brighton Campus Student Government Association by-laws outlines that clubs and
organizations deliver to the senate a list of officers and an interpretation of their mission statement, be it
Resolved, that the Brighton Campus Student Government approves the documents brought before it by the
Engineering Leadership Council, fulfilling their obligation as outlined in the by-laws.

Assistant Promotions Coordinator Resolution
Whereas, the President of the Brighton Campus Student Government Association is charged with appointing
members to his Presidential Cabinet to carry out all matters of budget and policy; be it
Resolved, that the Brighton Campus Student Government Association approve Brian Woodard as an Assistant
Promotions Coordinator in the Presidential Cabinet for the remainder of the 2006-2007 academic year.
