Santa Fe Chabad Community Featured In SFCC Photo Exhibit
April 7, 2004 — A photo documentary on the Chabad orthodox Jewish community in Santa Fe is
on display in the Santa Fe Community College Main Entry Gallery.
SFCC is displaying a collection of black and white photographs and commentary by “aj”
Melnick, who is represented by Bashert Gallery of Albuquerque. The show runs through April
23 at Santa Fe Community College, 6401 Richards Ave., Santa Fe, and is open to the public.
Chabad, the orthodox Jewish group that originated in Poland in the eighteenth century,
established a community in Santa Fe five years ago. Chabad has communities in 109 countries,
and is based in Crown Heights, Brooklyn, NY.
