I’m hearing that our Board will put the Student Equity Resolution onto its April agenda
(which would breach our District’s shared governance policy!)
If we must follow such a fast track, I’m sending a package today to each of you which
might help clear up some of the issues. Included are:
My suggestions to strengthen the resolution;
The resolution which was voted down (by one vote) to send to committee;
The legal requirements for Student Equity Plans (Title V);
Three sets of data sheets which contradict the declared achievement gap
problems;
The San Francisco Unified (K-12) District’s resolution upon which our students
based their resolution;
A CCSF High School Report.
