a. Resolution to approve the allocation of funds to the ASL Club
Resolved by the senate present and voting that the Student Government Association
allocates $352.80 to the ASL club
b. Resolution to approve the allocation of funds to the Campus Ambassadors
Resolved by senate present and voting that the Student Government Association allocates
$2,875 to Campus Ambassadors.
c. Resolution to approve the allocation of funds to the Engineering Leadership
Council
Resolved by the senate present and voting that we allocate $3,047 to the Engineering
Leadership Council.
d. Resolution to approve the allocation of funds to the Biology Club
Resolved by the senate present and voting that the Student Government Association
allocates $494.60 to the Biology Club

EXECUTIVE SESSION
Resolution to approve the allocation of funding to the Engineering Leadership Council
Whereas the contingency progress has been adopted by the Student Government Association for this year. And,
Whereas the Engineering Leadership Council have requested funds for a SUNY Two-year engineering science
association robotics competition. And,
Whereas this competition will be held at the borough of Manhattan community college. And,
Whereas the Engineering leadership council will be representing MCC as defending state champions. And,
Whereas it would benefit MCC to take home another state championship. And,
Whereas the total cost of the trip is $4,547. And,
Whereas they will be staying at the holiday inn. And,
Whereas they will be leaving on May 6th and returning on May 8th. Be it,
Resolved by the senate present and voting that we allocate $3,047 to the Engineering Leadership Council.
Resolution to approve the allocation of funds to the Biology Club
Whereas the contingency funding request process has been adopted by the Student Government Association for
this year. And,
Whereas the Biology Club is requesting $180.00 for a trip to the Buffalo Botanical Gardens and the Buffalo
Museum of Science. And,
Whereas the trip will be educational providing the club an opportunity to study the biology of the gardens as
well as explore the exhibits at the museum. And,
Whereas the full cost of the trip of $494.60 and,
Whereas the Student Government Association feels that the total cost of the trip compared to the educational
benefit is cause for the Student Government Association to fully fund this trip for them. Be it,
Resolved by the senate present and voting that the Student Government Association allocates $494.60 to the
Biology Club
Resolution to approve the allocation of funding to the ASL Club
Whereas the contingency funding request process has been adopted by the Student Government Association for this year
and,
Whereas the ASL Club is going to The Great Escape and,
Whereas The Great Escape is a scavenger hunt event where clues are found in order to escape the room and,
Whereas the ASL Club is requesting $352.80 and,
Whereas this event would create team building and critical thinking skills which would be beneficial to communication
skills. Be it,
Resolved by the senate present and voting that the Student Government Association allocates $352.80 to the ASL Club.
Resolution to approve the allocation of funds to the Campus Ambassadors
Whereas the contingency funding request process has been adopted by the Student Government Association for
this year. And,
Whereas Campus Ambassadors plans on attending the Infusion leadership training retreat at Camp Pinnacle.
And,
Whereas the event is designed with workshops to improve teamwork and leadership. And,
Whereas, the retreat will be a 5 day event taking place May 26-May 31. And,
Whereas, the cost they are requesting is $2,875. And,
Whereas the $2,875 will cover housing, meals, and transportation. Be it,
Resolved by senate present and voting that the Student Government Association allocated $2,875 to Campus
Ambassadors.
