Senior Assistant Director of Student Financial/Enrollment Services
Student Financial Services, Lincoln Center
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reports to the Campus Director of Student Financial /Enrollment Services at Lincoln Center.
This cross-functional position has responsibility for all aspects of Lincoln Center Student Financial and Enrollment Services operation including but not limited to exercising lead responsibility for student accounts administration at Lincoln Center, review of financial aid applications, appeal requests, late fee waivers, supervision of Enrollment Services staff; outreach to and counseling of students/parents regarding student financing options, including financial aid, loans and payment arrangements as well as, resolving loan and student hold issues.
Assists the Campus Director, and manages the entire Student Financial Services and Enrollment Services area in the absence of the Campus Director.
Functions as a member of the LC team. Liaison with University student account function, and between student accounts and
the various LC graduate offices, including follow-up and troubleshooting as needed.
Liaisons with outside agencies such as banks and credit card vendors.
Assists in billing activities.
Processes adjustments to student accounts, financial holds, graduation audits and clearances as needed.
Provides supervision, training and support to the head cashier and the Enrollment Services staff for day to day operations, including customer service, application of payments to student accounts and the timely and accurate processing and depositing of daily cash receipts.
Oversees processing of cash receipts for third party payment, specifically special programs administered by Graduate
Education.
Communicates and supports compliance with procedures and regulations.
Performs all other duties assigned. Interacts with other University offices.
Participation in professional development workshops is required.
May be required to work at the other campuses.
Evening and weekend work required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree, plus minimum three years diverse experience in the management of student financial services.
Proven administrative and management skills and experiences.
Effective written, oral communication and group presentation skills. Strong and proven interpersonal skills. In depth knowledge of Federal and New your Financial Aid Regulations. Computer experience essential. Knowledge of SCT
Systems, PowerFaids, Banner, Microsoft and Excel helpful. Must be committed to quality customer service.
