Students will have already completed day 1, but we will complete activity from day 2. Materials (natural and man-made) are available at your table. Please follow directions. You may work in groups or individually. Day 2: Materials: - Cardboard bases - Clay - Paper - Natural materials 1. Cardboard bases, clay and natural materials are available on the table 2. Create your own Earth or land. The land should include several different types of landforms (ideally valleys, mountains and plains would be represented). Also include the natural items, making a model of their community or local landforms. 3. Allow time to construct model 4. Include rivers, ponds, lakes, etc (no water will be used on day 2)
