Place students in pairs or small groups.
Each group gets a copy of page 1.
Each student gets a copy of page 2.
Groups cut the six panels out and trim them around the edges.*
* or (print page 4A on card stock, pre-cut class sets and store in envelopes.)
Students read the panels aloud and decide as a group the order they go in. (V,A,K)
Students should use background information for visual clues.
Students sort panels until they come to a consensus on the order.
Groups tape the first three panels together in a strip.
Groups tape the second three panels together in a strip
Have individual students share their paragraph on what happens to the rats.
