Anglia Ruskin University Higher Education Corporation, hereinafter known as Anglia Ruskin,

Success in achieving this goal, and maintaining appropriate standards of Health and Safety,
can only be achieved through effective communications. The full co-operation and
commitment of all staff (whether manager, employee, safety co-ordinator or safety

Safety management programme will help minimise the impact of accidental loss on us and
will assist us to meet our budget targets.
Our objective is, at all times, to conduct our operations safely, protecting the health of

Seek continuous improvement in our Health and Safety performance and promote a safe
and healthy working environment
Similarly, give priority to those actions required following audits, inspections or accidents
which have the greatest impact on reducing risks to acceptable levels
Provide Health and Safety training for our employees to ensure that they are competent
to meet the University’s Health and Safety obligations
Require all employees to take reasonable care for the Health and Safety of themselves
and others
Make our expertise and knowledge available to the relevant authorities and emergency
services
Consult with our staff, who are our key asset and their representatives on Health and
Safety matters
