Get a head start on “Graduate School” preparation!
ENROLL IN OUR SPRING 2006 SEMINAR SERIES
 Become exposed to the graduate school admissions process
 Learn about the nuances of conducting research
 Interact with current graduate school students
 Gain insight on how to write effective personal statements
 Attend graduate school visitation programs
 Explore application fee waiver incentives for McNair scholars
 Join a community of young scholars
 Learn about funding sources to attend graduate school for McNair
scholars
 Consult with faculty members about the expectations of graduate
school
Interdisciplinary Studies 100 offers (1) hour of course credit and
meets on selected Tuesdays & Thursdays from 4:00 – 5:30 p.m.
Class begins February 9, 2006. Space is limited, and “Program
Eligibility” is required.
