Wheat germ DNA spooling lab: reference instructions:
As of Fall 2009, it looks like the original page got moved... So we'll just pretend it
is still there.
I suggest using CBE (now called CSE) citation style throughout the course. The
link is http://library.osu.edu/sites/guides/csegd.php.
I'm OK with numbering references. In this case, you'd be citing a web page
with no author. So in the text, you could put (1) behind the statement you wish to
reference. For instance, you could put in your Materials & Methods section:
"Wheat germ DNA was isolated as previously described (1)".
Then at the end of your report, you could list all references, starting with "1. DNA
Extraction from Wheat Germ [internet]. [updated 2005]. Salt Lake City (UT):
Genetic Science Learning Center, The University of Utah; [cited 2009 Sept 8].
