Final Review Week Sixteen FINAL EXAM RULES AND REGULATIONS 1. Class attendance is required. Students with excessive absences may be administratively withdrawn. 2. Eating, drinking and smoking are not allowed in the class or lab sessions 3. There is no make-up examination. Four lecture exams (modules) are scheduled. The lowest test grade (module) is dropped. There is no make-up for missed lab exams. 4. All exams will begin promptly at the scheduled class time. All exams will end when the last student that arrived on time is finished. In any event the maximum allotted time for any exam will be an hour and thirty minutes. 5. Laboratory safety rules and regulations must be followed during all laboratory sessions. 6. Late lab reports will not be accepted. In order to receive credit for a lab report, students must be present. At the conclusion of the laboratory session, reports will be submitted for grading. 7. Academic Integrity: Any student caught cheating will be reported to the Division Head and receive a grade of “F” for the entire course. 8. Abusive language or disruptive behavior by a student(s) will not be tolerated. If such situations arise, Campus Security will be immediately notified and the appropriate action taken. 9. The following policy has been adopted by HCC. Use of recording devices, including camera phones, certain lap tops and tape recorders, is prohibited in classrooms, laboratories, faculty offices, and other locations where instruction, tutoring, or testing occurs. Students with disabilities who need to use a recording device as a reasonable accommodation should contact the Office for Students with Disabilities for information regarding reasonable accommodations ADA STATEMENT STUDENTS WITH DISABILITIES SHOULD CONSULT WITH THE DISABILITY COUNSELOR AS SOON AS POSSIBLE SO THAT AN ACCOMMODATION PLAN CAN BE DRAWN UP AND IMPLEMENTED. WITHDRAWAL POLICY: Withdrawal from the course after the official day of record will result in a final grade of “W” on the student transcript and no credit will be awarded. It is the student’s responsibility to initiate and complete a request for withdrawal from any course. Failure to withdraw prior to the final withdraw date will result in a final grade of “F” on the student transcript.
