Spring.
Communications
The Chair sent communications to:





The programs who underwent PR last year. In particular, we reminded them to contact
us to discuss their pending MOUs. The Executive Committee will meet with POLS next
week for this purpose. AJ is awaiting the results of that meeting to determine if they also
need to meet with us. Ag contacted us, but has yet to set a meeting. No word from
CHEM regarding their external reviewer report or the MOU.
Deans Hirokawa and Mathews to remind them of the need to move forward on the
MOUs.
The entire faculty, informing them of the new PR schedule that came out of the VCAA’s
office in response to the system move from a 7-year to 5-year PR cycle.
Those programs currently going through PR. MARE has already had their external
reviewer visit and will forward that report when they get it. HIST is still working on their
report and in identifying their external reviewer. ENG is working to schedule their
external reviewer visit in January. No word from ART.
Those programs coming up for review in the next two years, to invite them to sit on the
PRAC general membership committee. As noted above, we already met with Astronomy/
Physics in this regard.
