Global and Community Citizenship (3 credits) Students select one semester course designated “GC.” This course allows students to apply knowledge gained from their course of study to the global and/or local communities. These courses will provide firsthand awareness of local and global community and environmental issues and encourage interaction with community, business and/or government sectors in order to effect positive change. G4. World Cultures (6 credits) Students select two semester courses (with G4 certification). These courses offer a broad, integrated analysis of cultural, economic, political, scientific, philosophical, religious and social developments that recognizes the diversity of human societies, diverse cultural traditions and cross-cultural interaction.
