MANDATED FUNDING FOR SPECIAL SALARY
ADJUSTMENTS
ARTICLE XX, SALARIES
F. SPECIAL SALARY ADJUSTMENTS
The provisions governing special salary adjustments related to retention,
market, equity, and merit shall be governed by the Memorandum of
Understanding incorporated as part of this Agreement as Reference Section
18. Merit awards shall be made on the basis of teaching excellence,
outstanding service, or other meritorious service.
Effective June 2002, an amount equal to one percent (1%) of the total salary
base at that time shall be allocated to awards, which shall be granted under
the procedures in the Memorandum of Understanding.
Effective June 2003, an additional amount equal to one percent (1%) of the
total salary base at that time shall be allocated to awards, which shall be
granted under the procedures in the Memorandum of Understanding
