1. Subject line: Indicate the class and time as well as assignment.
Example:
English 1301 2:30 PM Essay One from Cordelia Cortez
[This tells me that you are in my 2:30 Comp I class and that you are turning in

2. Make sure your document name [also known as “filename”] leads with your last name:
