Interviews with tribal members and the production of a documentary DVD has already been accomplished by University of Arizona. This phase of the collaboration between Zion National Park and the University of Arizona, Bureau of Applied Anthropology, is intended to result in final, refined production of the Southern Paiute Basketry documentary DVD for Zion National Park, Pipe Spring National Monument, and the Southern Paiute tribes involved in the project. Master copies of more extensive, original filmed interviews with tribal members will also be produced and distributed to ZION and PISP for future use and preservation in park archives. This modification will also allow for an additional meeting between University of Arizona, the NPS, and tribal members to review project accomplishments and discuss related, future partnerships.
