PROJECT TITLE: Cultural Landscape Reports for the Bryce Canyon Lodge Historic District and the Old Park Housing Historic District
EFFECTIVE DATES: Immediate upon approved Task Agreement through May 30, 2008.
PROJECT ABSTRACT: The preparation of a Cultural Landscape Report for the Bryce Canyon Lodge Historic District and a Cultural Landscape Report for the Old
Park Housing Historic District will provide general recommendations for landscape treatment (e.g. preservation, rehabilitation, and restoration) that park staff may use
when completing Section 106 compliance materials, and that NPS designers may use when preparing landscape project documents that involve cultural landscape
resources in these two historic districts. The use of this information by NPS planners will provide information necessary to protect and preserve these National
Register listed districts and ensure that future rehabilitation considers the significant landscape character and features of these districts.
