Relay for Life
- Very fun and uplifting. NAU has raised $94,000 to-date.
ABOR
-UofA is partnering with TechLaunch; tuition: NAU 5% increase across the board for
grad school. Non-resident grad students: 19,380; resident: 8,296
-Student safety committees: Wed. April 23. 4-6pm High Country Conference
Final reports in June
Center.
- Fees went up
-initiatives underway to improve AZ pre-college schools.
- ABOR will be doing a comprehensive review of fees next year
Presidential Service Award

- Next Wednesday! Ramona encourages everyone to attend.

Elections: update and discussion about future guidelines
- Elections are underway!!! Bugs are straightened out, links are live. Art Farmer sent
Susan detailed instructions that will go into the elections binder for next year.
- executive board is staying neutral for future candidates. Recommended to discuss this
for future GSG groups

Committee updates
-Social:

- GPSAW on Wednesday. In the Studios 7-9:30. Dena will pick up catering
and key. Invite people!!
-T-shirts: we will get 100. We will have them for the picnic.
-picnic: question addressed regarding having it on the weekend, due to
transportation. Keeping the schedule as-is for now. April 26, 12-2. Need to
reserve Quad
-Travel:
-English department requesting monthly table. Seonmin will keep working
to see if this is feasible.
-PR:
-Trying to meet with ASNAU. Scheduling is tricky.
-Good feedback for newsletter. Going to keep working on making the
format student friendly.
-Policy:
-Met & talked about meeting/providing documentation for next year's
committee members.

-Parking:
-less boots and tickets.
-going to make a rental car
-still need bus drivers
-talk of making residential lots open after 4:30pm to NAU parking
passholders
-transportation fee staying $50.
-graduate student parking spots: parking services doesn't have control
about where parking lots are removed
-talk about re-working graduate stipends to help out parking fees.
