Survey of Statistical Techniques in AERJ for 2004 Faculty Research Center Victoria Vakarchuk vv37@nau.edu We performed a survey of statistical techniques that were used in the articles published by the American Educational Research Journal (AERJ) in 2004. I used Wilson premier search to find a total of 22 articles published by AERJ in that year. I searched through each article to find the research design, and the statistical techniques used. I focused my search on the sections labeled; methodology, method, data collection, data analysis, and results. However I did find relevant information in other sections as well. Some articles used more than one statistical technique, and I listed all techniques used. I could not determine the research design in all the articles. Table 1 shows the research designs used by the articles, and Table 2 shows the statistical techniques used in the articles published by AERJ in 2004.
