It is understood between, the Offeror and the University, that the above listed equipment shall be
on loan to the University for demonstration purposes only. While the equipment shall be in the
possession of the University, it shall be covered by University insurance, for damage and
destruction, in the same manner as if such equipment were owned by the University.
It is understood that the Offeror shall provide the University with a written notice five (5) business
days prior to removal of demo equipment.
It is understood that all costs of moving, handling, transportation and installation shall be the
responsibility of the Offeror unless other arrangements are approved, in writing, by the Director of
Procurement.
It is understood that the acceptance of this equipment by the University, for demonstration
purposes, shall not commit the University to purchase this equipment from the Offeror furnishing
demonstration equipment and that standard University purchasing procedures shall be followed if
a purchase is approved.
It is understood that any equipment purchased and supplied to the University, as a result of this
demonstration, shall be new and unused equipment unless Purchasing Services and the University
end-user agree to accept the loaned equipment at a negotiated price.
