Topic Submission
Initially I had considered wastewater management and transportation
systems as potential topics of study as they pertain to Kochi, Kerala. Upon looking
into available sources on the topic I found that my interest wasn’t as great as I first
thought. Through further exploration I was able to find a great deal of information
on the concept of sea level rise including many studies that relate directly to the
Kerala region. In conclusion I’ve decided to focus my study on this topic with a
research question along the lines of: To what extent could sea level rise have a
future impact on the Kerala region? Specifically, I will look into potential impacts on
the metropolitan area immediately surrounding Kochi.
