Briefly describe the activity/strategy.
1. Introduction The students are encouraged ro make study groups and meet at
least once a week for a couple of hours to review, discuss and solve critical
thinking/ probem solving questions related to that weeks' lectures.
2. Set up & Supplies None
3. Directions Students are given detailed instructions about their writing
assignments and oral presentations. They are emailed critical thinking
questions before the lecture on a particular topic
4. Conclusion Improves critical thinking, iterdependance, research activity and
skills for public speaking
What worked well? So far it is working well and that is evident from student performance
in the class and their grades.
What would you change? This is working well, and I would like to add more strategies in
spring
Would you use the activity/strategy again? Why or why not? I shall use these strategies
again in all sections I will teach in Spring, because they generate enthusiasm and
interest and icresed motivation.
Please describe any student learning outcomes/changes that you observed after the
implementation of the activity/strategy. More acive participation , improvement in
attendance and grades.
