Successful Student Letter (III)
(DUE ON NOVEMBER 24th)
Write a letter to yourself about how El Camino College will assist you and achieving
your greatest goals and dreams.
Guidelines:
1. Be specific about your dream. For example, instead of writing, “I want to work in
the fashion industry”, write, “I want to be fashion designer.”
2. Conduct some research on the services El Camino College offers before writing
your letter. Include specific services or departments that can help you achieve
your goal.
3. Write legibly or type your letter using a computer.
4. Use proper grammar, spelling, and sentence structure.
5. Include the date the letter was written on the letter.
Place the completed letter in an envelope. SEAL THE ENVELOPE. ADDRESS
THE ENVELOPE. Place your address in the middle of the envelope and a return
address (the address the letter will be returned to in case it cannot be delivered) in the
top left corner. Leave the top right corner empty (for the stamp.)
