The goals listed on the handout are as follows: 1. El Camino College’s plan for developing SLOs at the course, program and degree level must include evidence of being beyond proficiency by October 2013. 2. ECC must be able to provide evidence of SLO sustainability by fall 2014. 3. ECC must complete assessment of all courses and programs – 100% during Spring 2013 to be beyond proficiency. 4. The SLO assessments must demonstrate how we integrate those results into student learning improvements and achievements. 5. Results from SLO assessment must provide information to fine tune curriculum and instruction in an effort to improve student learning. 6. ECC must increase and strengthen the current level and usage of SLOs – one SLO per program is not sufficient. J. Noyes and D. Wright are working on submitting SLO documents online for availability. The list of assessments, the alignment grids, all SLO statements, and the 4 year assessment cycle list are available online. The faculty were asked to send a copy of their SLOs to Jim or Jean so that a copy can be kept in the division office and to keep copies of all documents submitted into Curricunet. M.
