Purpose
The purpose of this procedure is to outline the responsibilities for the College’s physical plant operation,
maintenance and repair functions.
Procedure
A. The Facilities Process Team, under the guidance of the Chief Business Affairs Officer and the
Executive Director of Facilities Management and Construction will develop Facilities Operations and
Maintenance Procedures to apply to College facilities.
1. The Facilities Process Team membership will include:
a. the Director of Administrative Services and Senior Supervisor of Campus Plant from each
Campus,
b. Facilities Planner,
c. Facilities Project Manager/Building Code Official,
d. Facilities Planning and Resource Manager,
e. Executive Director of Facilities Management and Construction,
f. Center Representatives, and
g. the Construction/Electrical/ Mechanical Inspector and Facilities Planning Specialist.
2. The Facilities Process Team will provide recommended revisions to the procedures on a regular
basis to ensure maintenance and operations are conducted in accordance with current best
practices, minimum standards and all applicable codes.
B. The Facilities Management and Construction Office is responsible for maintaining and ensuring
collegewide compliance with operation and maintenance procedures.
