Go Inside Poem
Choose a topic that you will “Go Inside.” Write down anything that describes that item or idea. Then
make it into a poem. Your first line will be “Go Inside
your topic here” You will then have ten lines of
3-4 words that describe your topic. Your last line will read “This is your topic here.”
It will look something like this:
Go Inside Highland West Jr. High
students screaming in the halls
lockers slam, bell rings
Then all is quiet
Learning happens here
Teachers lecture, yell, laugh
Students eat, talk
Gossip, drama, emotion
Pencils writing, erasing,
Tap, tap, tapping
Papers fly to the ground
