We had a great first three days of school. We learned
school and classroom procedures and made some
new friends. Now it’s time to “hit the books”. We
will have a spelling test this Friday so your student
needs to be sure and study every night. I have
attached some fun spelling activities and ideas that
you can do with your child to help with the spelling
words.
Homework this week will be to study spelling words
and I will be sending home some Writer’s Workshop
activities. Your student is to discuss these with you
and you are to initial that they did so. This is a good
way to let you know what is going on while your
student is learning about responsibility.
