Parents:
We would like to take the opportunity to provide you with a
“packet” of information regarding Camp Classen. The Camp
Classen dates for your child will be November 14-18, 2016. If
your child is not attending camp, he/she must attend school.
We will make arrangements for him/her to be supervised in a
classroom and appropriate academic materials will be
provided. In August, your child will receive several
IMPORTANT forms that MUST be completed, signed, and
returned in order for your child to attend Camp Classen. YOUR
CHILD WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO ATTEND CAMP CLASSEN
WITHOUT THE COMPLETED FORMS!
Please share any health concerns we might need to be aware
of: nighttime seizures, fear of dark, sleepwalking, bed wetting,
separation anxiety, etc. We will then pass the information on
to the cabin counselors if necessary. Medications must be in
the ORIGINAL CONTAINERS! All medicine must have a signed
doctor’s note (even over-the-counter medicine like ibuprofen).
Inhalers and Epi-pens are allowed to be carried by the child or a
sponsor on the trails. They will be kept in their backpacks.
Nebulizer machines will need to be sent if necessary and will be
kept in the nurse’s cabin. Medications must be turned in on or
before November 14, 2016.
Parents that do not attend camp ARE NOT allowed to “VISIT”
camp.
