2009 ~ GRADUATE STUDENT TRAVEL AWARDS
Announcement: The Department can provide limited support for Biological Sciences graduate students to attend
scientific meetings or workshops.
Award Period:
April 1 to September 1, 2009
Application Deadline:
March 1, 2009
Award Amount:
Approximately $300 each.
To apply: Complete the enclosed (1 page) form and send it electronically to feck@albany.edu.
Do not attach other sheets.
Depending on the number of applications we may not be able to support all applicants. For the purpose of funding
each application will be ranked as follows:
Highest: Presentation (poster or platform) of research at an international/national/regional scientific meeting
Second: Participation in a scientific workshop without concomitant presentation of research.
An abstract must be included on all applications.
