Central 9 Master Student It will be difficult to define a Master student before knowing who a Master is. Therefore, a Master is an individual who possesses or shows proficiency or exceptional skills. That being the case, for master, procedures and methods are automatic. For example, a master surgeon should be conversant with his or her scalpel; which should part of a surgeon or their extension. Similarly, a chef is a buddy with herbs and spices and knows how to mix them to make incredible food. Accordingly, the above masters do not think about the work process; they have a craftsmanship in their specialty. Nevertheless, mastery is not taught; one can only experience it and learn for themselves. Basing on the above definitions, a Master student would refer to an inquisitive student, one who asks questions that prompt enthusiasm in dreary circumstances. Similarly, a master student is focused on one moment at a time and is willing to change. Ultimately, the term master student refers to the process of learning to be a better and competent professional in future. I never imagined that trying to be a master student would lead me to where I am today unless I think about what I want to achieve in future. Similarly, I lack higher education experience, and I am struggling with the endless high school years. I believe it takes much effort for one to become a master student. At one point, I was one of the best Olean, New York’s soccer players at Olean Middle School. Consequently, every student and teacher knew who I was, but I did not have a precise objective of what I wanted to be in future. I was transferred to a deaf school in Buffalo and became a top soccer player as well. Accordingly, I believed education was insignificant in my life, and sport became a priority. After my graduation, I did not enroll in any college until it dawned on me that I had an Individualized Education Program diploma. Consequently, I was shocked. I, therefore, decided to attain an Adult High School or GED and then joined CPCC. Therefore, I attained the Adult High School through CPCC with CMS. Therefore, I elected to join CPCC as a college student. In the course of my previous semester, I was not a master student. I did not understand what one had to do in college, balancing my personal life and homework. The following semester, I chose to enroll for ACA 118, so I may learn new tools. Consequently, I learned how to manage my time, and I learned how to apply the services of a calendar as a planner. I was aware that I had much homework, which I had to finish every day, but ACA 118 instilled in my the confidence to complete the homework promptly. Therefore, I became a master student, a student of loyalty and excellence in my academic requirements. One day, I was disorganized when I attempted to keep up all the assignments I had. I felt that I could not maintain everything, including my private life. I was fed up, and then I developed new skill, which I had acquired through master studentship process; I used the 3X5 index cards to track everything daily. Consequently, it worked for me. I managed to be a different student, and I knew I had attained the level of being a master student to achieve my lost organization skills again. From that time, I ma a determined individual. For a Master student, the most difficult skill to achieve is preparation for the examination. Initially, o struggled to pass my examinations for long because I did not understand the process of preparing efficiently for examination. Fro that reason, I thought that writing the lecture notes down was a means of passing examinations and as consequence, I attained low grades than I always expected. In fact, to understand how to prepare effectively for examinations, I read a chapter on how to study efficiently. I had never imagined that using index cards and a highlighter to practice my skills was a significant aspect. Similarly, I apply the Strategy, Material, Acknowledge, Repetition, and Timing (SMART) technique. ACA 118 accorded me a hint of creating a new concept of managing my time and prepare for examinations then I invented the SMART policy. On the day of the exam, I passed with flying colors, and that is how I keep 4.0 GPA today. Therefore, Master student does not end there. One should continue learning new things every day. In fact, one of the strong traits of a Master student is learning that one will always be a learner. What made me succeed in most of my academic endeavors are the skills I acquired from ACA 118. I will always apply the principles. Indeed, every day I become a better student. Consequently, I believe I will graduate and join a university with a GPA of 4.0. However, I will continue applying the ACA 118 lessons even in my university studies.
