5. General Course Objectives
Covers advanced techniques and weld testing in SMAW welding processes.
Emphasizes safe care and use of hand and power tools in practical applications in
the shop.

Upon completion of this course the student will be able to:

b. perform equipment safety inspections
c. perform multi pass horizontal lap joint

g. perform horizontal groove welds
h. perform vertical groove welds
i. perform overhead groove welds
j. pass guided bend test
