5. Reason for this curriculum action This course has not been offered at MCC for many
years, and the art faculty feel that if this content is offered in the future it will incorporate
traditional Hawaiian fiber arts and will need to become a different course altogether. The art
faculty will reintroduce the course to the curriculum committee at a later date if it ever is
needed in the future.
