Materials are confirmed and available to meet grafting requirements.

Vine material is selected and prepared for grafting.

Vines are field grafted according to workplace procedures, without damage to
vines, equipment or property structures.

may include T buds, chip, wedge, side bark, V, omega.

2.2
Vine graft is treated/taped according to supervisor’s instructions.
Range:
may include tape, fungicides, paint, wax.
2.3
Grafting process and equipment is monitored to ensure results are maintained
within specifications.
2.4
Out-of-specification process and equipment performance is identified, rectified
and/or reported.

Complete field grafting activities.

Equipment is cleaned, maintained and stored as required.
3.2
Grafted vines are packed, labelled and stored according to supervisor’s
instructions.

moisture, humidity, temperature, light.
3.3
Unused grafting material is disposed of/stored according to workplace
procedures.
3.4
Waste generated by both the grafting and cleaning procedures is collected,
treated, disposed of or recycled according to workplace procedures.
