Rules);

2 This unit standard does not qualify people to certify cadastral data. Candidates must work under the direction of a licensed cadastral surveyor as required by the
Cadastral Survey Act 2002 and the Surveyor-
General’s Rules.

Prepare for a cadastral survey.
Evidence requirements.
1.1 Job requirements are confirmed in accordance with current rules, regulations and legislation for cadastral survey.
1.2 Survey methods and equipment are selected in accordance with job requirements.
1.3 Survey outcomes are identified in accordance with job specifications
1.4 Existing legal documents and cadastral survey data is researched and analysed to aid in the determination of cadastral definition.

Outcome 2
Perform a cadastral survey and process field observations.

Survey measurement and observations are undertaken in accordance with job requirements.

Accuracy is confirmed in accordance with current rules, regulations and legislation for cadastral survey.

Develop and present survey outcomes.
Evidence requirements
3.1 Reduced field data and existing data sets are analysed in accordance with job requirements and good survey practice.
3.2 A new cadastral data set is produced in accordance with job requirements and good survey practice.
