These can only be certified and submitted by a licensed cadastral surveyor. 3 Definitions CT reference means the certificate of title reference for a parcel of land. e-survey refers to digital cadastral survey datasets submitted by remote access to the Landonline database by licensed subscribers via the internet. Landonline refers to the Land Information New Zealand (LINZ) online database that provides land professionals with secure access to New Zealand’s only authoritative titles register and digital cadastre. Landonline user guidance is provided electronically and in printed form. XML refers to Extensible Markup Language used to transfer information between survey and engineering applications. Outcomes and evidence requirements Outcome 1 Create an e-survey for a subdivision in Landonline. 1.1 Survey header information is entered. Range evidence is required of – using the manage survey transaction screen, completing the survey Information tab, provisional allocation of a CT reference. 1.2 Observations and marks are captured and linked to existing data. 1.3 Survey references are added and deleted in a spatial display. Range 1.4 A new mark is entered from captured observations. Range 1.5 mark – type abbreviation, number, plan reference; may include but is not limited to – recording details of a disturbed or replaced mark. Parcels are captured. Range 1.6 plan reference, link mark, parcel. new parcel, existing parcel, linked, edited; excludes – staged unit developments. Data is edited. Range editing may include but is not limited to – spatial display, mark capture, traverse/boundary capture, link, unlink, delete. 1.7 Survey data is entered. 1.8 The e-survey is pre-validated. 1.9 Digital plans are generated.
