Exploration includes examining the timeliness of caucusing.
1.3
Exploration includes the process of negotiation with the parties in caucus.

Examination identifies strategies for the use of the information gained in
caucusing.
Outcome 2
Examine the arguments for and against caucusing in specific mediation scenarios.
Range
evidence is required of arguments for and against caucusing in two different
mediation scenarios.
Evidence requirements

Examination identifies when caucusing may assist or benefit the mediation
process.

standard are outlined in the Accreditation and Moderation Action Plan (AMAP). The
AMAP also includes useful information about special requirements for organisations
wishing to develop education and training programmes, such as minimum qualifications for
tutors and assessors, and special resource requirements.
