Outcomes and evidence requirements Outcome 1 Prepare for multiple passenger check-in. Evidence requirements 1.1 Passengers’ are greeted and travel details are obtained in accordance with enterprise procedures. Evidence requirements 2.1 Passengers’ names are accessed and name details displayed in accordance with enterprise procedures. 2.2 Passengers’ details are checked in accordance with enterprise procedures. Range 2.3 may include but is not limited to – e-ticket indicators, class of travel, pre-seating, frequent flyer details, special service requests, final destination, on-carriage, passport, visa. Passengers’ details are amended in accordance with enterprise procedures. Range may include but is not limited to – ticket information, seating, frequent flyer details, special service requests, on-carriage, passport, visa. Outcome 3 Process passengers’ baggage. Evidence requirements 3.1 Security and dangerous goods procedures are followed in accordance with enterprise procedures. Range 3.2 Passengers’ baggage is assessed and recorded in accordance with enterprise procedures. Range 3.3 may include but is not limited to – ask security and dangerous goods questions, name on baggage, querying baggage contents (liquids, aerosols, gels). may include but is not limited to – number of bags, fragile, oversized, pre-existing damage, weight of individual bags, total weight of pooled baggage. Excess baggage is identified and options discussed with passenger in accordance with enterprise procedures. Outcome 4 Accept passengers onto a flight. Range 4.2 Boarding passes are issued in accordance with enterprise procedures. may include – manual entry, automatic issue. Range 4.3 Baggage tags are issued and attached in accordance with enterprise procedures. may include but is not limited to – thermal, heavy, priority, fragile, standby, limited release. Range Outcome 5 Finalise the check-in process. Evidence requirements 5.1 Documentation is returned to the passengers and the departure process is explained in accordance with enterprise procedures. may include but is not limited to – boarding pass, passport, ticket, baggage receipts. Range 5.2 Passengers are directed to next area in accordance with enterprise procedures. may include but is not limited to – lounge for airline rewards passengers, departure gates, fragile and oversize baggage area, special handling desk, ticketing desk, bag drop area. Range 5.3 Passengers are farewelled in accordance with enterprise procedures.
