Outcomes and evidence requirements Outcome 1 Select and record additional sound. Evidence requirements 1.1 Music and sound effects chosen meet mood and purpose required. 1.2 Recorded buzz track and effects are sufficient to cover sound loss caused by editing. 1.3 Quality of recorded sound is in accordance with specifications of video maker. Outcome 2 Set up equipment. Evidence requirements 2.1 Equipment is checked and any faults identified and corrected before operation commences. 2.2 Equipment is set up to specifications for recording. Evidence requirements 3.1 Sound levels are achieved without interference to dialogue or action. 3.2 Sound is added which enhances the rhythm, pace, and emotion of the story. 3.3 Additional sound is in sync with the action. 3.4 Sound continuity is maintained throughout video. 3.5 Project is completed to specifications of video maker.
