Evidence requirements 1.1 The New Zealand Racing Board governing body is described in terms of the roles of members. Range 1.2 chairperson; one appointment from each of – New Zealand Thoroughbred Racing, Harness Racing New Zealand, New Zealand Greyhound Racing Association; three appointments on advice of a nomination advisory panel. The New Zealand Racing Board is described in terms of its relationship with the racing codes. Range racing codes – New Zealand Thoroughbred Racing, Harness Racing New Zealand, New Zealand Greyhound Racing Association. 1.3 The Ministerial portfolio is described in terms of its relevance to the New Zealand Racing Board. 1.4 The key functions of the New Zealand Racing Board are described in terms of the Racing Act 2003. 1.5 The statutory responsibilities of the New Zealand Racing Board are described in accordance with the Racing Act 2003. 1.6 The New Zealand Racing Board is described in terms of its obligations under the Broadcasting Standards in the Broadcasting Act 1989. 1.7 The New Zealand Racing Board is described in terms of totalisator agency betting (TAB) brand compliance and staff obligations under the Code of Professional Conduct. 1.8 The interaction of businesses within the New Zealand Racing Board is described.
