Customs Computer System is a complex computer system that receives a wide range of Customs data, and provides a mechanism for the processing of passenger, goods and Customs information. This system may also be known as CusMod. Organisational requirements refer to instructions to staff on policies, procedures, and methodologies which are documented and are available in the workplace. They must be consistent with applicable legislation and any other applicable compliance requirements. Evidence requirements 1.1 Customs Computer System is accessed. 1.2 Components of the Customs Computer System Navigator menus and submenus and their use are identified. Range maintenance, client service, goods, intelligence, passenger, workflow. 1.3 The online help facility is utilised to access additional information on Customs Computer System operational parameters. 1.4 The electronic cargo information entry facility used to facilitate the clearance of imported goods is identified and explained in accordance with organisational requirements. 1.5 The different types of activity reports are identified and explained in terms of use. Outcome 2 Process, create and update activity reports using Customs Computer System. Range two reports. Evidence requirements 2.1 Activity reports are created in accordance with organisational requirements. 2.2 Activity reports are accessed, viewed and completed in accordance with organisational requirements. Range includes but is not limited to – workflow, general query. 2.3 Alerts are accessed from activity reports. 2.4 Customs Computer System alerts are checked and actioned in accordance with organisational requirements. 2.5 Checks are made against previous intelligence information held by Customs in accordance with organisational requirements.
