Health and safety procedures must be followed in accordance with workplace and
legislative requirements for all tasks leading to assessment against this standard.
Personal protective equipment (PPE) must be used throughout operations in
accordance with company procedures and manufacturer’s instructions.

Definition
Company procedures refer to all documented policies and procedures of the
candidate’s employer at the time of training including, but not limited to, those relating
to health, safety, environment, quality, and operations.

Evidence requirements
1.1
Zinc coating thickness is measured in accordance with measuring equipment
manufacturer’s instructions.
1.2
Average of thickness readings is calculated and recorded in accordance with
AS/NZS 4680 or ASTM E376-11.
1.3
Consistency of the galvanized components is monitored in accordance with
company procedures.
1.4
Where applicable, records of completed galvanized component jobs are kept in
accordance with company procedures.
