People credited with this unit standard are able to: demonstrate knowledge of legislation and advisory documents relating to health and safety in a hot dip galvanizing facilities; and supervise health and safety at a hot dip galvanizing facility. Evidence requirements 1.1 Legislation and advisory documents relating to health and safety are identified and their key principles are outlined. Outcome 2 Supervise health and safety at a hot dip galvanizing facility. Evidence requirements 2.1 Health and safety hazards are identified, evaluated, controlled, and monitored in accordance with relevant OSH Codes of Practice and Guidelines, legislative requirements, and company procedures. 2.2 Supervision ensures that health and safety recording and reporting requirements are met in accordance with legislative requirements and company procedures. 2.3 Supervision ensures that health and safety incidents are investigated in accordance with legislative requirements and company procedures.
