Purpose
People credited with this unit standard are, for an aircraft
maintenance activity, able to: monitor progress; reorganise tasks
and/or resources; amend production plan; and report on
production progress.

Explanatory notes
1
All tasks are to be carried out in accordance with enterprise procedures, the enterprise
being the organisation carrying out the work. Enterprise procedures referred to in this
unit standard are the applicable procedures found in the following: enterprise
exposition; manufacturer publications; Government and local body legislation;
airworthiness authority requirements.

Definition
Human resource – the number and type of personnel required completing a task or
series of tasks, and the expected time those personnel will be required.
Outcomes and evidence requirements
Outcome 1
Monitor progress of an aircraft maintenance activity.
Evidence requirements
1.1
Status of work in progress is determined in relation to production plan targets.
1.2
Trends and/or events that will affect the planned completion time are identified.
Outcome 2
Reorganise tasks and/or resources for an aircraft maintenance activity.
Evidence requirements
2.1
Options that will restore the schedule, or minimise delays to the planned
completion time, are identified.

Records of variations from the production plan are kept in accordance with

Production progress reports are produced in accordance with enterprise
procedures and/or customer requirements.
