This qualification is for experienced marine practioners who wish to specialise in managing complex projects for the new build or refit of marine vessels. Outcome Statement Graduate profile Graduates of this qualification will be able to: - lead, manage, and recruit a team; and manage resources for complex marine projects - apply advanced knowledge of boat design and construction, engineering, and electrical-electronic systems, to solve problems for complex marine projects - generate and utilise marine project plans to manage a complex marine project to completion - apply financial and time management strategies to meet organisation or client expectations for a complex marine project - apply advanced knowledge of health and safety practices, risk assessment and management, environmental and legislative requirements, regulations and classification, to ensure compliance and manage organisation practices for a complex marine project. Graduates of the New Build qualifier must achieve all outcomes in a new build context. Graduates of the Refit qualifier must achieve all outcomes in a refit context. Evidence requirements for assuring consistency Evidence may include: - assessment information leading to the achievement of the graduate outcomes - a portfolio of learner work relating to the qualification and the annual review focus requirements - graduate and/or stakeholder/end-user feedback on outcome achievement - relevant excerpts from External Evaluation and Review (EER) reports.
