Outcomes and evidence requirements Outcome 1 Describe characteristics of a healthy environment in relation to laws of a specific New Zealand community. Evidence requirements 1.1 Relevant characteristics of a healthy environment are described. Range 1.2 cultural, Te Whare Tapa Wha, family/whānau, spiritual, emotional, behavioural, environmental conditions. Four examples of local authority bylaws in New Zealand that support the characteristics of a healthy environment in a specific community are identified and described in relation to their intended impact on environmental health. Evidence requirements 2.1 The way in which environmental factors impact on personal wellness is described. factors may include but are not limited to – housing, water quality, transport, socio-economic status.
