They may refer to manuals, codes of practice, or policy statements. 4 This unit standard is intended for, but is not limited to, workplace assessment. Outcomes and evidence requirements Outcome 1 Evaluate, interpret, and execute sampling techniques from a mine plan. Evidence requirements 1.1 Optimum location of sampling points is determined in relation to existing data. 1.2 Optimum method of sampling is selected in relation to deposit characteristics. 1.3 Samples are processed in accordance with pre-determined parameters and company policy. 1.4 Sample results are interpreted and evaluated against the aim of the programme. Evidence requirements 2.1 Resource consents issued are interpreted in accordance with company expectations for a given mine site. 2.2 Physical measurements required for compliance with consent conditions are determined in accordance with legislation and company procedures. 2.3 Ongoing implications in relation to costs, personnel, and equipment are evaluated and determined in accordance with company policy. 2.4 Determined work is executed in relation to evaluation and determination. 2.5 Ongoing evaluation, control, testing and sampling are maintained, and improvements are implemented in accordance with resource consent and company procedures.
